Its origin
The term Dishari stems from the Sanskrit language and has a threefold meaning: polestar, guide, and the one who shows the path. The logo is based on this concept of guidance.
Its history
DISHARI Consult (established in Amsterdam in July 2015) is the brainchild of Prof. Ranendra K. Bhattacharjee. It was his intention to establish DISHARI as a consultancy agency in India. In the course of time the idea changed into DISHARI Consult, a joint venture of him and Lennard Roubos. The two have been friends since the mid-eighties and sought for a good opportunity to start something new together. And that opportunity turned out to be DISHARI Consult. A product of personal friendship, professional confluence and their struggle for a better world.

DISHARI Consult envisions a world in which peace prevails, justice is done to everyone and the environment is respected and protected. All should be treated equally, irrespective of race, color, religion, creed, gender or sexual orientation, without any form of discrimination.

DISHARI Consult provides professional consultancy services in the sphere of organizational development, the search for strategic direction, developing partnerships, locating financial resources, co-designing ‘Calls for Proposals’, mobilizing financial support for projects and programs, networking, editing reports and facilitating & accompanying studies, reviews and evaluations. Finally, DISHARI Consult can also assist in organizing events like consultations. Furthermore, it is able to assist in portfolio management for equity funds and foundations.
